ProfileLin Ching Kit obtained her Bachelor of Art at Chu Hai College of Higher Education and her Master Degree in Mass Communication Studies at University of Leicester, United Kingdom. Her master dissertation used the 1989 June 4 incident as an example to explore how the media ownership influences on the control of the media. Lin Ching Kit joined the Chu Hai College of Higher Education in 2008. Before joining the College, she worked in a number of local media such as TVB, ATV, Hong Kong Commercial Radio, Ming Pao Daily News, and Oriental Daily. With extensive front-line experience in newspaper media as well as more than ten years of experience in electronic media, she is knowledgeable in news reporting, news writing, news translating, and news editing, and also familiar with TV news producing and front-line reporting. She currently teaches on a variety of areas including news writing and reporting, news translations, current affairs analysis, Hong Kong government and politics, and other journalistic professional skills training courses. |
