In early October, faculty and students from the Master of Arts in Arts Tech and Digital Communication program organized the “2025 China Animation Film Future Screening and Forum,” focusing on the surge in Chinese animation creation.
This event, supported by Southern Film Group and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, featured a special screening of the Chinese animated film “Lion Boys 2” at Hong Kong Chu Hai College.
Industry heavyweights were invited to engage in in-depth discussions, creating a platform for “work appreciation × creative deconstruction × industry foresight.”
Following the screening, Lin Yunhua, General Manager of Southern Film Group, senior screenwriter Zhang Ying, and representatives from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department delved into the future of Chinese animated films, discussing topics ranging from regional culture and creative trends to cultural integration.
