Dr. Tracy Lee, Head of the Department of Journalism and Communication, and Mr. Hui Chun Fai, Chairman of the International Music Festival, signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties, with Vice President (Academic & Research), Professor Robert Lee Kwok Yiu, witnessing the signing ceremony.

With the signing of the agreement, Hong Kong Chu Hai College officially became a co-organizer of the 2nd AIGC Cultural Digital Content Creation Competition.

The inaugural competition achieved remarkable results, and this year’s event aims to attract even more creative talent. The competition features four major categories: Image Creation, Video Creation, Music Creation, and Designer Toy Creation. The College will provide professional consultants and judges for the competition, as well as internship opportunities for Journalism and Communication students. The initiative seeks to integrate AIGC technology with local cultural and creative industries while providing a platform for young creators to showcase their talents.

The 2nd AIGC Cultural Digital Content Creation Competition is now accepting entries. The submission deadline is 30 August 2026. Students who are interested in participating are encouraged to visit the competition website for details: https://aigc.eduhk.org/
