Hong Kong Chu Hai College was proud to join the inaugural Asian Professional Negotiators Network (APNN) 2026 Annual Conference as an academic partner. The three-day event, held from 14 to 16 April, brought together more than 100 practitioners, government officials, and scholars from across Asia to exchange insights on professional negotiation strategies and crisis management techniques.
The line-up was impressive. Deputy Commissioner of Police Yip Wan-lung officiated at the opening ceremony, alongside former Commissioners Siu Chak-yee and Lee Ming-kwai, as well as Chief Superintendent Liauw Ka-kei of the Police Negotiation Cadre. Participants also gained hands-on experience through live crisis simulation exercises.
For Hong Kong Chu Hai College, this was more than simply supporting an industry event. It provided a valuable opportunity to engage with leading experts and observe how academic research is translated into real-world practice.
