Students of J&C Department, led by Senior Lecturer Mr Tak Man Leung and Lecturer of Practice Mr Eddie Hong, visited FILMART 2019 on 22 March 2019.
Students from JAC and JCC programmes visited the privileged exhibition on the opening day. Through the visit and discussion with the participating experts and professionals, students learned more on the latest global trend of film and TV production. They also have a touch on the most advanced production kits for VR & VFX technologies.
FILMART, organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council, is the largest marketplace in Asia for the entertainment industry, covering TV, digital entertainment, documentary, distribution, production, post-production, shooting locations, film & broadcasting equipment, film financing, etc.
FILMART is business-oriented and most of the visitors who are internationally renowned producers, distributors, investors and professionals use the event to launch promotions, network with key industry players and negotiate deals.
