😍 Let’s explore the beautiful Balkan country of Croatia together, discovering a wonderful land where history, art, culture, and nature intertwine!

🌟 Highlights of the Exchange:
Stroll through the capital, Zagreb; wander the medieval old town of Dubrovnik; explore the unique terrain of the World Heritage site “Plitvice Lakes National Park”; and touch the marks of time in the ancient coastal city of Šibenik! Enjoy the most beautiful sunset in Europe by the sea in Zadar while listening to the enchanting melodies of the “Sea Organ”!

🌟 In-Depth Cultural Exchange:
Visit local top universities to study architecture and natural ecology; tour the Chinese embassy to hear stories from abroad; collaborate with Croatian artists to create artworks and hold joint exhibitions; and engage in passionate musical exchanges to build bridges of friendship with melodies!

✔️ A professional briefing session before departure to learn about the destination’s culture and itinerary.
✔️ A sharing session after the return to revisit the highlights of the exploration and continue the bonds of exchange.

Recruitment Details:
Trip Dates: August 23 – August 31, 2025
Number of Participants: 30 people
Eligibility:
Hong Kong youth participating in the exchange project must:
(a) Be aged between 18 and 35 years old on the day of departure.
(b) Hold a valid Hong Kong Permanent Resident ID or
(c) Hold a valid Hong Kong Resident ID and be enrolled in a full-time course in Hong Kong, and
(d) Not have participated in any other international exchange projects under this funding program in the current year.

Trip Fee: The Youth Development Bureau’s International Exchange Fund subsidizes 2/3 of the trip cost! Selected participants will need to pay approximately *$8,500 (about 1/3 of the trip cost). A “Subsidy Pilot Program for Underprivileged Youth” is available for eligible students.
(Note: Departure dates and trip fees may be adjusted, subject to the organizer’s final decision.)

2025-26 Youth Development Bureau International Youth Exchange Funding Program

“Subsidy Pilot Program for Underprivileged Youth”
(a) The purpose is to further support underprivileged youth in participating in exchange projects funded under the “Youth Development Bureau International Youth Exchange Funding Program.” The Home Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau (Youth Development Bureau) has launched the “Subsidy Pilot Program for Underprivileged Youth” to provide additional funding to economically disadvantaged youth, ensuring that young people from different backgrounds can benefit from the exchange program.
(b) Eligible participants must meet the following conditions:
(i) Youth receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA); or
(ii) Students receiving full funding under the “School Textbook Assistance Scheme” or full tuition funding under income-assessed funding programs by the Student Financial Assistance Agency.
(c) Coverage of Exchange Projects: Participants must pay for international exchange projects costing over HKD 3,000.
(d) Funding Amount: For projects where participants’ costs exceed HKD 3,000, the remaining amount will be covered by additional funding provided by the Youth Development Bureau to eligible participants.
