Advertising and Corporate Communication (JAC) Programme and Communication and Crossmedia (JCC) Programme of Department of Journalism and Communication have been zealously cherishing and supporting students to closely connect to the multimedia industry, and thus they become the academic partners of the 16 edition shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival.
Principal Lecturer Mr Poon Kam Chuen Felix, Senior Lecturer Mr Leung Tak Man and Part-time Lecturer Mr Ho Fung Pooh have been appointed members of shnit Advisory Committee.
The 16 Edition shnit film festival will be held on 18 – 22 October 2018. shnit was founded in Bern, Switzerland in 2003, bringing together more than 30,000 filmmakers and film lovers during the worldwide festival circuit.
Mr Ho Fung is also the Chairman of Hong Kong Film Art Association (HKFAA), established in 2004 as a charity group, which is one of Hong Kong’s largest academic organization with more than 350 member schools. HKFAA is the exclusive Organizing partner of shnit (HK) Playground.
