On September 30, 2021, students enrolling for the course of News Anchoring & Programme Hosting were given a special session to learn how to apply make-up on their faces before appearing on screen in the TV Make-up Workshop organized by the Department of Journalism and Communication. The coach is Ms. Deborah Wong, an alumnus of Chu Hai College of Higher Education, and also the widow of the late renowned Film and TV Make-up artiste Mr. Chan Man Fai.
