JCM Students Win Three Awards in the Consumer Rights Reporting Competition

Among the three awards granted to our JCM students , two were Gold Awards in the Campus Category. The first Gold Award goes to Chung Tiffany Goldie Tsoi Yu (Year 4), Tang Ming Yee (Year 3) and Yan Tsz Ying (Year 3). Their feature video, titled: “Person-to-Person Marketing Calls, Whether It Should Be Regulated” won the Gold Award in the Campus Category.

Chow Mun Hang, a JCM graduate of last year won two awards of the day. He paired up with a student from CUHK to win the second Gold Award and the Sustainable Consumption Award in the Campus Category.
JCM students’ hard work and dedication were fully recognized in the competition.

The event’s honourable guest was Edward Yau Tang-wah, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of Hong Kong. The “19th Consumer Rights Reporting Awards” was an annual event, co-organised by the Consumer Council, Hong Kong Journalists Association, and Hong Kong Press Photographers Association.
