A seminar was held on 7 November 2022, in which three significant figures of the Hong Kong film industry were invited and shared inspiring talks with our teaching staff and students of the Master Program of Global Communication. The first speaker, Ms. Lam Wan Hwa, General Manager of Southern Film Co., Ltd, is also an alumnus of Chu Hai College and shared a topic on the transitionary history of the Hong Kong film industry over the past hundred years. Mr. Cheng Kim Fung, Vice Managing Director of Media Asia Film, delivered a talk on the co-production of filmmaking between mainland and Hong Kong. Lastly, Film Director Yim Ho talked about how a film director can capture the world by producing a magnificent piece of work. It was a fruitful and informative morning for our students.
