Chu Hai College of Higher Education continues to take part in the TVB Inter-Collegiate Documentary Competition 2017. This is the fourth time that CHC’s JCM students join this competition. On 21 January, CHC’s student attended the orientation talk of the competition to know more about the details of it.
The Assistant Legal Adviser of the Television Broadcasts Limited explained some legal issues such as copyright, contempt of court, defamation and the privacy of personal data. The Principal Regulatory Legal Affairs Manager illustrated about the format and rules of the video content, for instance, using formal language and avoid indirect advertising. Besides, the Broadcasting Engineer explained the technical standard of broadcasting. All television programmes including documentary have to comply with the relevant regulations.
We hope that the CHC students further experience how television programmes are produced through this competition and strive the best to get a reward from the fourth time participation.
