The opening ceremony of the “Bay Area Hong Kong Youth AI Empowerment Training Camp” organized by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Government of the HKSAR, and the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation was successfully held in Shenzhen on August 31. The Department of Journalism and Communication being one of the support units, Professor Fung Kam Wing, Dean of the School of Literature and Social Sciences, and Professor Lee Kwok Fong, head of the Department of Journalism and Communication, served as officiating guests. The training camp will help Hong Kong youth master AI technology, seize new development opportunities, and better integrate into the future development of the Greater Bay Area through in-depth technical learning, practical workshops, project-based learning, and on-site corporate visits.
